You must be registered before Sept. 1st, 2008. The class will be at no cost to students as long as the prerequisites for the district training council have been met, and this includes classroom materials. If the student would like their own copy of the manuals it will cost $100 per copy, payable to the above information and must be paid for by the first day of class. Firefighter Rescue & Survival Train-the-Trainer

Dates: September 6 & 7 Times: 9am-4pm Location: Southwest Fire District Training Center, Indianapolis Road Ft. Wayne Cost: FREE
This class is geared towards developing instructors to teach this NFA program to other firefighters. The program consists of a classroom session and hands-on evolutions learning several ways to self-rescue as well as rescue other firefighters in a RIT situation. This class is open to all firefighters however you must be certified Instructor I only if you are taking this course as a Train-the-Trainer. Priority will be given to students taking this as a Train-the-Trainer and class size will be limited to 20 students.
